The Western Literature Association was founded in 1965, and since 1974 the WLA has operated under a set of by-laws that have since then received only a few minor amendments.  Times and practices have changed a lot over the years, and it is now necessary to bring those by-laws up to date.

Below you will find links to both the current by-laws and the newly revised by-laws that have been approved by the WLA’s Executive Council and are currently awaiting ratification by the membership.
